Leaving the entrance to the private way leading to the St. Bernadette sports complex a block away, you can see the UN tank posted at an intersection of the main highway. It is white and underneath the billboard. This tank is not within sight of any part of the sports complex because of the highway, the secluded, off highway private drive, trees, large church and houses. Where was the UN? What did they see? What did they know? These are questions yet to be answered. More importantly, the question is what will the UN do in the future to be more able to prevent such atrocities from happening? Whether the shots that were fired by the police during the massacre could have been heard by the UN troops is another question to be answered in the ongoing investigation.
